$1,250,000.00 Verdict. Auto Accident. Our client’s husband was killed on December 15, 2005 by a man on methamphetamine who was driving and working for Video Warehouse at the time of the accident. The verdict was against the defendants in the case, Video Warehouse and David Glen Lee of Vienna, Georgia. Our client’s husband was operating a log truck and unfortunately burned to death immediately following the horrific collision. The five day trial was held in Vienna at the Dooly County Courthouse.

$225,000 recovery. Tractor Trailer Accident. Client was operating a tractor trailer log truck and stopped on the side of the road. He was rear ended by another tractor trailer. He underwent a cervical fusion and instrumentation and returned to work soon after the accident.

$200,000 recovery. Auto Accident. Clients were involved in a head on collision when driver of another vehicle swerved into their lane of travel. One client died and the other suffered serious injuries. All available insurance was recovered.

$200,000 recovery. Train Accident. Client was struck by train at an intersection without crossing gate.

$100,000 recovery. Club Serving Minor Alcohol. Client’s underage daughter was admitted to a nightclub where she was served alcohol. A little used Alabama statute allows recovery against a business for serving alcohol to a minor, regardless of personal injury. All available insurance was recovered.

$100,000 recovery. Night Club Shooting. Clients’ were victims of a shootout at a nightclub in Selma, Alabama. We alleged the security the nightclub employed failed to adequately search individuals for weapons and guns. All available insurance was recovered.

$100,000 recovery. Auto Accident. Client injured knee in auto accident. Client underwent arthroscopic surgery which revealed little damage. Client retained Slocumb Law Firm after first attorney recommended settling the case for $45,000.00.

$150,000 recovery. Auto Accident. Client injured forehead in auto accident. Client did not suffer any broken bones or require surgery. Client received minimal scarring to forehead. All available insurance was recovered.

$140,000 recovery. Auto Accident. Client was injured on interstate when a trailer being towed by a pickup truck came loose. Client swerved off road to avoid trailer and flipped her vehicle several times. Client was hospitalized for a week and suffered two fractured vertabrae in her neck. All available insurance was recovered.

$100,000 recovery. Auto Accident. Client was injured when another driver ran a red light. Client was hospitalized for a week but did not suffer any broken bones or require surgery. Client suffered extensive bruising. All available insurance was recovered.

$150,000 recovery. Auto Accident. Client was injured when another driver turned in front of her. She was hospitalized for a month but otherwise did not suffer any broken bones or require surgery.

$135,000 recovery. Auto Accident. Client was injured when his vehicle was rear ended. Client required a cervical fusion. Client recovered quickly and returned to work soon after the surgery.
