Ray Nicholas, a Lawyer in Our Washington, DC Office
Attorney Nicholas grew up in Dorchester County on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and attended high school at North Dorchester. He was a captain of the baseball and soccer teams and was heavily involved in National Honor Society, Key Club, and the Chicone Ruritan Club. He attended Salisbury University, where he graduated with a B.A. in communications and a B.A. in history.
After college, he worked as a hospitality and retail manager before attending law school. He attended law school at the University of Miami, where he received his J.D. and was an editor of the Business Law Review.
He returned home to Maryland to practice and received his Maryland Bar License. He worked as a Court-Appointed attorney for the State of Maryland, as well as a commercial litigator in suburban D.C.
He received his L.L.M. from the University of Maryland and worked at the Securities and Exchange Commission while attending Maryland for his L.L.M.
Outside of practicing law, he enjoys traveling, being outdoors, sports and spending time with friends and family.
