Bio
Samantha Renshaw is an attorney in the Birmingham, Alabama office of Mike Slocumb Law Firm, where she focuses her practice on personal injury litigation, including tort cases in both state and federal courts. Ms. Renshaw’s prior experience includes privacy and administrative law, with a background representing clients in complex regulatory matters.
A native of Arkansas, Ms. Renshaw earned dual degrees in General Music and Creative Media Production from Arkansas State University, graduating magna cum laude and with University Honors. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from The University of Alabama School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. While in law school, she served as Senior Editor of the Law & Psychology Review, participated on the Intellectual Property Moot Court Team, and earned the award for Best Paper in Privacy and Data Security Law.
Ms. Renshaw is admitted to the Alabama State Bar and holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) designation. She is an active member of the American Bar Association and Birmingham Bar Association. Ms. Renshaw serves as an officer of the Volunteer Lawyers Birmingham Junior Board. She has also published several notable works, including contributions to the Crieghton International and Comparative Law Journal and ABA International Law Year-in-Review.
Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Renshaw is a dedicated martial artist and distance runner. When she isn’t training, she loves spending time with her dog, Cooper, and cat, BB King.
