Sarah Hufft
Attorney
Bio
Growing up in New Orleans as the daughter of two personal injury attorneys, Sarah developed a strong sense of purpose early on—fighting for individuals whose lives have been upended by negligence and injustice. She channels this personal inspiration into tenacious representation for her clients, often going up against powerful corporate defendants.
Sarah earned a Presidential Scholarship to attend Georgia Southern University, where she majored in Spanish and minored in Writing. She went on to graduate cum laude from LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where she was repeatedly named a Paul M. Hebert and Dean’s Scholar. Her academic excellence was further recognized through multiple CALI Awards for the highest grades in Federal Civil Procedure, Advanced Federal Criminal Procedure, and Legal Research and Writing.
During law school, Sarah quickly distinguished herself as a formidable advocate. She placed second in the Ira S. Flory Mock Trial Competition and served on the Board of Advocates, an honor reserved for students demonstrating exceptional written and oral advocacy. After completing the Vinson & Elkins Trial Advocacy program, Sarah was part of a select group of students nominated for membership in the Wex S. Malone Inn of Court based on her performance.
Before joining Slocumb Law Firm, Sarah represented plaintiffs in high-stakes personal injury and medical malpractice cases against major corporations and healthcare institutions. She has successfully negotiated numerous multi-million-dollar settlements on behalf of her clients.
Sarah is also an active member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, where she serves on the Membership Committee and was selected for the LEAD Academy. Her involvement reflects her commitment to protecting the rights of the injured and preserving the constitutional right to trial by jury.
Outside the courtroom, Sarah enjoys trying new restaurants, walking the Katy trial with her dog Teddy, and cheering on the LSU Tigers.
