Jack Lyding

Jack Lyding is an attorney with the Mike Slocumb Law Firm at the Washington, D.C. office. His practice primarily focuses on personal injury, including car, truck and motorcycle accidents, and premises liability. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in history and economics, with a minor in political science, from the University of California, Davis. Mr. Lyding then received his Juris Doctor with concentrations in litigation and antitrust law from George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School in Arlington, Virginia.
While in law school, Mr. Lyding was an avid moot court litigator, placing as a finalist in Mason Law’s Upper Class Competition and traveling to Las Vegas to compete in the Boyd School of Law’s Frank A. Schreck Gaming Law Competition. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Lyding worked for a business litigation firm in Arlington, VA, and a workers’ compensation firm in Walnut Creek, CA.
Mr. Lyding is an amateur astronomer, and an avid fan of the Oakland A’s.
